About Hintonburg

A funky and trendy neighborhood just West of little Italy, Hintonburg is still a developing neighbourhood. The area offers single-family homes, multi-units and condos. With many new storefronts and great restaurants, the area has brought in new condos and in-fills. Hintonburg is also very mixed in its character. The area has a mix of heritage buildings and recent additions.

This neighbourhood is home to the Parkdale Farmer's Market, just north of Wellington. Home to over 5 art galleries, many eclectic and cozy restaurants, there are also 2 public elementary schools, a public middle school, and a French catholic elementary school all within the hood’s boundaries.

Hintonburg is a highly walkable and bikeable area. A quick walk will get you most of what you need, if not a bike ride will suffice. Public transportation is also accessible to Hintonburg residents, getting them to every corner of the city quickly and efficiently.
